Monte Gets Some Press

We are starting Monte early as a hat model seeing how our little tike has such as big yet perfect c-section head.

Swim Time!

We were at Chris & Shannon's pool club, showing off our Waterbabies dolphin dive. Lief decided we have a webbed Seattle baby after all. It is spooky just the same but Monte loves the water and is quite buoyant with all that tummy fat.

Hands...Yummy

So Monte does the two-handed thumb sucking approach. Why only suck one thumb when you can try & shove both hands into your small mouth?

Sharing a Secret

I got sort of enthusiastic snapping pictures non-stop. Lief's beard tickles Monte & he just loves it, gets very cozy & laughs a ton.

Ahh..my face

This was our last ZooTunes music venue, colder temperatures (where did summer go?) but still a great evening out. Monte found Lief's face very entertaining, pliable and Dadda didn't complain much.

First Sox Game

The BIG MOMENT~ Monte is indoctrinated into the Sox way of life. He lasted seven whole innings (can't say that much for the Mariners) & Lief was very much the proud Papa. Monte was mesmerized with the view (from the nose bleed section), all the noises (loud Sox fans all around) & Momma's horrible garlic fries breath :-)

New Tricks Around the House

Monte is getting "better" at sitting up; although he is prone to folding over like a taco if he needs to reach his teething toy. The fancy BebePod chair seems to help him keep his balance while he plays with his stuffed toys.

Back at ZooTunes

Monte & his pal Zachary (born same day!) were enjoying Bela Fleck this week at the Zoo. Quite a Seattle summer scene.

Monte's First Camping Adventure

We joined Jackie & Viv along the Mountain Loop Hwy. The site was just tucked off the road, by a creek & perfect for our first outdoor adventures with little Monte.





We also tested our new tent (thanks Yuri) & Monte loved peeking up at the big trees, eating my sleeping bag & playing with Lief (super) early in the morning.
