Bath Time

Our little fish is quite happy for our evening bath time rituals. Getting him out of the tub & into his pajamas is not as easy.

Floor Moves

Our little man keeps himself busy on the floor. Monte hasn't quite put all the pieces of crawling in order but instead entertains himself kicking his legs out while flat on his tummy. As of today he is just starting to get up on his knees, rocking back & forth. You can almost see his brain figuring the steps out slowly. He is one strong tike & makes these noises (Lief calls him a baby sheep) while working on it.

Party at Palatine

So Monte was quite the host to...Nanu & Papa, Aunt Ilana with Uncle Bear, Roxanne, Leila & Leo plus Aunt Mishy with Uncle John, Ruby, Owen, Avery & Gus. We missed Aunt Didi with Uncle Guy, Oscar & Ella this year.

Cass Family Moments

Here we go... the Cass clan reunited for Thanksgiving (the Cass/Ashley Berkeley group was there in spirit).




Uncle Bear holds Monte, cousin Leo & his curls smile for the camera, cousin Avery eats poo, cousin Roxanne plays with Monte.




We even managed to have a family swim at Ilana & Bear's hotel.

Thanksgiving

We are very grateful for celebrating our first Thanksgiving with Monte. We know it is the start of many wonderful *firsts* amongst our extended family, that is quite extended...as we attempt to fit around one table :-)

A lunch outing

So we had a lunch outing one afternoon while Nanu & Papa were visiting. We had yummy sandwiches & french fries too. Tessa & Oscar were able to join us!



Papa was entertaining Monte with monkey faces, which enthralled Monte completely.





Here Nanu & Monte were taking in the dog-art on the walls at the Baguette Box.

Cheerios a go-go

Monte is able to tuck many o-cheerio away in those cheeks of his...all while contemplating the meaning of breakfast.

Chimenea Hour

I call it our *Hawaiian roaster* but the outdoor-fireplace is a big hit & keeps us warm during our Happy Hours. Here we are celebrating with Matt & Camilla. Monte is getting the hang of it, all bundled up & mesmerized by the chimenea flames. The apple wedge is also a big hit for him.

Tiny Tots

Here we are downtown at the Benaroya Hall for a music concert. We were able to get tickets to the Seattle Symphony Tiny Tots for an introductory music series; not sure how much *serious* music we will end up seeing; more of an excuse for a family outing with dessert at little cafes afterwards! Here are some pictures from our first show with Monte's buddies Oscar (Tessa/Jamie) & Zach (Sarah/Dave).

Music Class

Lief was able to join us at music class, dance around the room & meet the other babies. It really is fun to watch Monte enjoy the teacher & tap/gum on the drums.
