Passover in Bezerekly (April)
We landed into sunny CA for a holiday weekend! Monte enjoyed catching up with his Cass-family cousins, especially Oscar. Grammie Lisa was there too!
Our first stop was North Berkeley Rose Garden/Park. They have this famous slide (invented before lawyers Kim likes to say :) where children use cardboard boxes to glide down that much faster. Monte is probably 2-3 years away from attempting this 40-foot long cement slide.
The Tilden train rides were the best! Amazing little tour through the redwoods, along a stream train with the family, good times.
After the train ride we ventured on a little hike to take in the vistas of the Berkeley Hills. The cousins are great little hikers.
No visit to Berkeley would be complete without a quick stop at one of my favorite old haunts...the Homemade Cafe. We lined up, ready to go @ 7am...Monte was a big fan of the Heavenly Fry plate.
We tooled around N. Berkeley & visited with SF family friend Kathy too. I took us to yet another one of my favorite spots: Live Oak Park. We even packed in a SF Ferry Terminal stroll & an Embarcadero park visit too.

En Casa
Some moments hanging around la casa de Eva Lena & Fernando.
I really don't know what happened here...maybe the heat?
Monte a slight mad man, trying to get to fall asleep, stay asleep in his pack & play.
Very comfy in our pool house called *El Quincho del Tero* which essentially was where the grand parilla (Argentina grill) cooking took place, it was at the back of the property.
Monte took VERY much to inspecting the bidet. He was absolutely fascinated!!
Lots of hugs from Cecilia :)

A Day In B.A.
Temaiken Zoo Adventures
We went to an AMAZING zoo! It was a hot day but the place was huge, with so much to see & the dark/cool aquarium was the perfect hide-out from the heat.
Of course we had to stock up on some diapers! Fernando's first experience with this purchase; it was insane how many types there were to chose from (we normally do 1.800.diapers--cheap & online).
