House Time
It was Lief's birthday (old man is now 39 :-) & Grammie Lee Lee was in town to celebrate with us. We had lots of floor play time together.
Lunch at the Market with Grammy LeeLee
The market was in full swing. We were out on the deck of the Pink Door. Monte is a big fan of cups, especially red ones or yellow ones.
A Favorite Activity
It is called a "chum bag" to prevent gagging. After some curious tries, Monte got the hang of eating/sucking on watermelon.
Celebrating the High Holidays
Yes, this is a fuzzy toy Torah we played with while singing "Happy Birthday to the world" to celebrate the New Year. It was packed with tiny ones at services, very exciting for the little Monte.

Shot Recovery
So at a little over six months our little Monte is quite a big Monte. He is 20 lbs/14 oz, 28 1/4 inches & has a 18 3/4 inch head size. The Ped actually measured his height twice, just to make sure. Luckily the shots didn't seem to bother Monte too much!
Vinny Style
Ok...Lief took these shots, making fun of the way I dress the little tike I guess. Notice the paunch as he sits up; sort of helps keep him anchored.

Monte is quite the little laundry helper as he shows who's BOSS with all Lief's socks. Cause & effect some one explained; that seems to be the fascination.
Messy Marvin
Baby food is now quite the norm in our household; Monte loves it! I've made a bunch but really can't keep up with his interests. Luckily bath time is right after dinner.
